6 goals in a crazy match between Cameroon and Serbia

The Cameroon national team played a draw with  Serbia in the match of the second round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.

Group G meeting ended with a score of 3:3.

Jean-Charles Castelletto, Vincent Abubakar, and Eric Choupo-Moting scored for Cameroon. Strahinja Pavlovich, Sergei Milinkovic-Savich, and Alexander Mitrovic scored for Serbia.

After this match, Cameroon and Serbia have one point each, taking the third and fourth places, respectively. Also in the quartet are the national teams of Brazil and Switzerland, who will play their match later on Monday.

In the final third round, the Cameroonians will meet with Brazil, while the Serbs will play against Switzerland. Both matches will take place on December 2.

Cameroon scored two goals in three minutes against Serbia.

A couple of minutes after the third goal was conceded, the Cameroon national team coach Rigobert Song released  Vincent Abubakar onto the field. In the 55th minute, he replaced midfielder Martin Ongle.

In the 63rd minute, Abubakar scored after a cutting pass from Jean-Charles Castelletto, and in the 66th, forward Eric-Maxime Choupo-Moting scored after a pass from Vincent.

Thus, Cameroon equalized the match, scoring twice in three minutes, and Abubakar scored a goal and gave an assist 11 minutes after entering the field.

Recall that at the end of the 1st half, the African team missed the lead, conceding two goals from Serbia in stoppage time.
