An Italian press report confirmed, today, Tuesday, that Juventus will make its final decision regarding the signing of Dutch striker Memphis Depay, Barcelona striker, within the next 24 hours.
Juventus entered into negotiations with Barcelona during the last period, in order to include Depay, which was welcomed by the Catalan club and an agreement was reached, but the deal was stopped due to the player’s financial demands.
According to the Italian newspaper, “Toto Sport”, Juventus will discuss with the club’s economic experts the extent of the possibility of providing the salary set by Depay (7-8 million euros per season).
Juventus are currently evaluating other alternatives in anticipation of the failure of the Depay deal, most notably Marko Arnautovic (Bologna) and Arcadius Milik (Olympic Marseille).
For their part, Barcelona are confident that Memphis Depay will end up reaching an agreement with Juventus.
