A close friend of Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo spoke about the possibility of the Madeira missile transfer to Naples, during the current summer Mercato.
Several reports have claimed that Ronaldo welcomes the idea of moving to Napoli, especially since the latter is participating in the Champions League.
“Ronaldo will not go to Naples,” said Edo Aguirre, a journalist with the Spanish program El Chiringuito.
Aguirre is one of the journalists close to Cristiano Ronaldo since the Portuguese player was at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United expires in the summer of 2023, with the possibility of an extension for another season.
It is reported that Cristiano Ronaldo was also linked this summer with a move to Milan, Inter, Sporting Lisbon, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
