Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the cusp of returning to the Premier League again through the gates of London, but this time through Chelsea.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an expert on transfers of players and coaches in Europe, Chelsea has reached an agreement in principle with Barcelona, regarding the inclusion of Aubameyang for 14 million euros, as well as the inclusion of Marco Alonso in the deal.
The two sides are currently working on completing the deal, and Aubameyang is expected to fly to London in the coming hours.
The Gabonese international has previously played 163 matches with Arsenal in all competitions, during which he scored 92 goals and assisted 21 for his teammates, and was crowned with the Gunners in the FA Cup and Charity Shield.
It is noteworthy that the deal was delayed due to the long negotiations between both clubs, in addition to Aubameyang’s injury to the jaw during the robbery in his home.
