Greek Olympiacos on the official website announced the signing of a contract with former Real Madrid defender Marcelo.
“Legend! Brazilian superstar Marcelo is at Olympiacos. The club officially announces the acquisition of the best Brazilian left-back, Marcelo, who will wear a red and white shirt,” reads the publication of the press service of the club from Piraeus. Note that Olympiacos did not disclose the main detail – the term of the contract with Marcelo.
According to Transfermarkt, it is calculated until the end of the 2022/23 season. The 34-year-old Brazilian Marcelo has been playing for Real Madrid for over 15 years.
During this time, he took part in 544 matches, in which he scored 37 goals and gave 103 assists. The Brazilian defender has won 25 trophies with Real Madrid, including five Champions League victories.
