Ten Hag explains why Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t started three games in a row

Date:

Manchester United head coach Eric ten Hag spoke about the situation with the forward Cristiano Ronaldo, which has not appeared in the main team of the Red Devils for three matches in a row.

And in the past, and in previous seasons, he showed a lot. But now Ronaldo has to adapt to our style of play. If he does, I am sure that thanks to his qualities he will change the situation. Making decisions requires following your instincts, feelings, and emotions. But I have to be rational if we want to lead Manchester United in the right direction.

In the match with Liverpool, Ronaldo appeared on the field in the 86th minute, and in the games with Southampton and Leicester, in the 68th minute. The last time Cristiano was in the starting lineup for Manchester United was on August 13 in the match of the 2nd round of the Premier League against Brentford.
