Portugal escaped Ghana’s surprises with an exciting triple

The Portuguese national team defeated the team of Ghana in the first round match of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
The Group H meeting at the 974 Stadium ended 3-2 in favor of the Portuguese, with goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo (65, from the penalty spot), João Felix (78), and Rafael Leau (80). The team of Ghana scored Andre Ayew (73) and Osman Boukary (89).
Ronaldo became the first player to score in five FIFA World Cups. In addition, the Portuguese joined the record holders in the number of participations in the world championships.
Portugal topped the Group H standings with 3 points, followed by South Korea (1), Uruguay (1) and Ghana (0). The Portuguese will play against Uruguay in the second round on November 28, while the Ghana team will play against South Korea on the same day.
