Reports from Saudi media have uncovered that a prominent player from a Saudi Pro League club has been using banned substances and stimulants.
Sources from the ‘Bara Al 18’ program, aired on the ‘SSC’ network, have reported that a major star from the Saudi Pro League has failed a doping test.
The show’s host, Abdulrahman Al-Hamidi, stated, “I am unable to disclose the player’s name at this time, but the situation may become official in the coming days”.
“I intended to share this information, but I need to confirm it first,” he continued.
Players in the Saudi league have been granted a one-month break due to the Saudi national team’s participation in the Arabian Gulf Cup ‘Gulf 26’, which will take place in Kuwait.
The tournament is scheduled from December 21 to January 3, with league play set to resume on the 9th of the following month.
