New details have emerged related to the terms of the contract of French striker Osman Dembele with FC Barcelona, which he recently signed to continue at the Camp Nou stadium.
According to the Catalan newspaper, “ Sport ”, Dembele’s contract stipulates that Barcelona will pay the player half of the value of his potential purchase, from any other club in the next two years.
The contract of the French international includes an annual salary of about 17 million pounds, in addition to additional incentives that may reach 3.4 million.
The contract also includes a penalty clause that allows the 25-year-old to leave for 42 million pounds (he will get half of it if activated).
It is noteworthy that Dembele joined Barca in 2017, coming from Borussia Dortmund for 120 million pounds, but he suffered many absences, due to his many injuries.
