The scoring was opened by the defender of the red-blacks Matteo Gabbia in the 39th minute. After 10 minutes, the guests forward Rafael Lean increased the lead. In the 59th minute, Milan striker Olivier Giroud converted the penalty.
Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Robert Lubicic scored the final score in the match.
After five rounds, Milan are in 2nd place in the Group E standings with 7 points. Dynamo is in last place – 4 points. Chelsea lead the group with 10 points, and Salzburg are third with 6 points.
