Serena’s business group includes 60 companies, with investments ranging from digital currencies to food and sports brands.
With her charisma, Serena changed the history of tennis, breaking sports and social barriers, after she came from the poor city of Compton, California, to reach the top of the sports world.
It is worth noting that three-quarters of the companies in which Serena invests her money are established by women or people of color, according to official data.
The value of these companies, according to the newspaper, “The Wall Street Journal,” is more than one billion dollars.
It is not only an investor in them but also actively involved in the business of those companies.
She recently told this newspaper, “I get up and go to the office…everything is digital now, I sit and answer calls all day long…and when Olympia (daughter) goes to school, I go to work.”
