The Amsterdam club has sold its leaders.
The publication Voetbal International presented the ranking of the clubs with the highest income following the results of the last summer transfer window. The list was topped by Ajax Amsterdam.
Ajax made €216.2m from the sale of their players this summer.
The Amsterdam side’s biggest sale list included Antoni and Lisandro Martinez, who was sold to Manchester United. The club also parted ways with Sebastien Aller (Borussia Dortmund) and Ryan Gravenberh (Bayern).
It is worth noting that Ajax winger Anthony cost Manchester United € 100 million. This is the most expensive transfer in the history of the Dutch championship, and Manchester United spent more money only on Pogba (€ 105 million).
The second place in the ranking of clubs with the highest income was occupied by Manchester City – € 159.9 million. The Portuguese Benfica was also in the top three – € 127.3 million.
