Brazilian media disclosed on Wednesday a recent update concerning the stance of the Saudi Al-Hilal Club towards its Brazilian forward, Neymar da Silva, following his recent injury.
Neymar sustained a muscle injury while playing for Al Hilal against Esteghlal of Iran in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League, prompting concerns regarding the potential conclusion of his career in Saudi Arabia. According to Brazilian network TNT, the management of Al Hilal is keen on retaining Neymar and aims for him to be part of the team during the Club World Cup scheduled for June 2025. Al Hilal has released an official statement confirming that Neymar’s medical tests have revealed a tear in the posterior muscle. As a result, he will embark on a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting between 4 to 6 weeks. Additionally, Dai Crespo, a representative from Neymar’s media team, clarified that the player intends to remain with Al Hilal until the conclusion of his contract, refuting any claims regarding his potential departure from the club in January.
