Massimiliano Allegri, coach of Juventus, stressed that his team should not retreat during its matches, as happened against Sampdoria.
Juventus failed to win and lost two points after drawing 0-0 away against Sampdoria, today, Monday, in the second round of the Italian League.
Allegri said in his statements to the ” DAZN ” network: “We did not concede a goal in two matches. In the first half, Sampdoria played a good game, and we did good things in the second half, and we had an opportunity in the end that we did not take advantage of.”
He added: “Unfortunately, there is one thing in football that should not be done and that is regression. This also happened against Sassuolo. We played a good second half. It is a shame that we missed two points.”
He pointed out: “In the first half we did not play well, Sampdoria ran a lot, and in the second half, Dusan Vlahovic played better, he should be more relaxed when the ball arrives.”
And he added: “One thing is for sure, we have Pogba and Chiesa outside the team for injuries and they are important, there is a desire to do something important, we are a little behind the others, and this requires a little patience.”
“Not conceding a goal in the first two matches is a good thing, and it is also a sign, now we have to prepare for the big match against Roma,” the Juventus coach added.
