Juventus midfielder Angel Di Maria will not take part in the match of the 1st round of the UEFA Champions League group stage with PSG. The press service of the Turin club reports recalls that Di Maria received a muscle injury in the match of the 1st round of the Italian Serie A with Sassuolo (3:0).
It was expected that the recovery of the Argentine footballer would take 10 days, but Di Maria was not included in the Juventus application for the upcoming European Cup match.
Di Maria played for PSG from 2015 to 2022. After the midfielder’s contract with the French club expired, he signed an agreement with Juventus.
The match of the 1st round of the UEFA Champions League group stage PSG – Juventus will take place tomorrow, September 6, at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris. The meeting starts at 19.00 GMT.
