Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raised concerns over the fitness of one of his key players ahead of Sunday’s London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the 11th round of the Premier League.
Arteta said in a statement reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, via his account on the “X” platform:
“Declan Rice hasn’t trained with us yet, and we’re still uncertain whether he’ll be available for the Chelsea match.”
Rice missed Arsenal’s recent Champions League clash with Inter Milan due to a broken finger.
It is noteworthy that Arsenal endured a tough start to November, suffering back-to-back 1-0 defeats—first to Newcastle United in the Premier League, followed by a loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League.
