Aston Villa lost to Stevenage in the FA Cup, conceding two goals after 88 minutes

The Aston Villa players failed to qualify for the 4th round of the FA Cup, losing at home to the Stevenage club, which represents the fourth largest national league. The meeting ended with a score of 2:1.

Birmingham had a one-goal lead almost to the very end of the game, but conceded two goals in the 88th and 90th minutes. The goals were preceded by the sending-off of Aston Villa midfielder Leander Dendonker.

Stevenage will play Championship side Stoke City in the next round.
