Barcelona easily defeats Barbastro to reach Copa del Rey’s last 16

Barcelona secured a 4-0 victory against Barbastro, a fourth-division team, at their stadium on Saturday evening in the round of 32 of La Copa Del Rey.

Lewandowski netted two goals for Barcelona, while Pablo Torre and Eric Garcia also found the back of the net in the 21st, 31st, 47th, and 56th minutes.

With the 4-0 victory, Barcelona advanced to the round of 16 of the Spanish King’s Cup.

The match began with early pressure from Barcelona, as Kounde headed the ball over the goal in the 6th minute.

In the 10th minute, Pedri delivered a cross into the penalty area for Lewandowski, but the striker’s header also went over the goal.

The pressure from Barcelona continued, and Eric Garcia opened the scoring in the 21st minute. He received a header from Araujo inside the penalty area and directed it into the lower left corner of goalkeeper Fabrega’s net.

Lewandowski doubled the lead in the 31st minute. An indirect free kick from Pablo Torre on the right side was met by Lewandowski, who headed it to the right of the goalkeeper.

The first half ended with Barcelona in control, leading 2-0.

In the second half, Lewandowski added a third goal in the 47th minute. He latched onto a through ball from Pablo Torre and finished with a shot to the lower left corner of Fabrega’s goal.

The scoring continued in the 56th minute with Pablo Torre’s goal. He capitalized on a significant mistake from the goalkeeper, who misplayed a pass, allowing Torre to intercept the ball and slot it into the net.

Barcelona dominated the remainder of the match, with Barbastro failing to pose any threat. The Catalan side comfortably secured their qualification to the round of 16.
