Barcelona gets an easy win against Victoria Plzen

Barcelona devoured its guest, Viktoria Plzen, the Czech Republic, 5-1, today, Wednesday, in the first round of the group stage of the European Champions League. 

Barcelona scored five, Frank Kessie in the 13th minute, Lewandowski’s “hat-trick” in the 34th, (45 +3) and 67th minutes, and Ferran Torres in the 71st minute.

While Jan Sikora scored, Victoria Plzen’s goal in the 44th minute.

Barcelona raised its score to 3 points in Top Group C, while Viktoria Plzen is at the bottom of the standings table without points. 

The match started with pressure from Barcelona, ​​and from the challenge in the penalty area, Lewandowski fell, but the match referee refused to count anything in the third minute.

Barcelona managed to advance in the 13th minute, from a corner kick by Ousmane Dembele, which reached Conde, who headed it to Casey, who put it in the net.

Barcelona striker Ansu Fati hit a powerful ball that passed the right post in the 18th minute.

The match referee awarded a penalty kick to Victoria Plzen in the 23rd minute, after Christensen challenged Mosquera, but he reversed his decision after returning to the mouse, due to a mistake on the guest player.

Lewandowski added the second goal for Barcelona in the 34th minute, as he received a pass from his colleague Sergi Roberto and aimed at the bottom left of the goalkeeper.

Jan Sikora reduced the score to Viktoria Plzen in the 44th minute, receiving a cross from his colleague Jemilka and heading into the net against Ter Stegen.

And Lewandowski returned to add his second and third personal goal for Barcelona in the minute (45 + 3) when he received a cross from the right side through his colleague Osman Dembele, and from a header, he put the ball into the net.

The first half ended with Barcelona leading 3-1.

At the beginning of the second half, Ousmane Dembele passed the ball to Lewandowski inside the area, but he failed to control it.

Pedri shot a powerful ball that hit the left post of Viktoria Plzen’s goal in the 64th minute

. Lewandowski scored his third personal goal in the 67th minute, receiving a pass from Ferran Torres and shooting hard from inside the area.

Ferran Torres added Barcelona’s fifth goal in the 71st minute, as Ousmane Dembele passed a lobbing ball deep into the Victoria Plzen penalty area, and Torres shot the bird at the far left of the goalkeeper, ending the match with a 5-1 victory for Barca.
