FC Barcelona succeeded, today, Tuesday, in immunizing one of its prominent players in the midfield during the current season.
“Gavi has signed a new contract and the agreement is now 100% complete,” Fabrizio Romano, an expert on transfers of players and coaches in Europe, wrote on his Twitter account.
The transfer expert added: “It is all over now after leaks emerged from the negotiations last week.”
He continued: “The new contract will be valid until June 2026, with an increase in salary and a penalty clause of one billion euros.”
Romano concluded: “Barcelona will announce the official renewal of Jaffe soon.”
