Benfica have agreed to negotiate with Chelsea for the sale of midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to TYC Sports.
The Blues have already offered £106m (€120m) for the 21-year-old, according to the source, more than in line with his release clause. Chelsea are in a prime position to sign the young midfielder.
Fernandez has been with Benfica since July 2022. This season, he scored 3 goals and made 5 assists in 24 matches for the team, and also won the 2022 World Cup as part of the Argentina national team and was recognized as the best young player of the tournament.
Portal Transfermarkt values the player at 55 million euros.
