Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema sent a message to his fans on social media.
Benzema published a picture of him, on his account on Instagram, and wrote on it, “I will not complain .. my return will be strong .. thank you for all your messages.”
Real Madrid announced that Benzema had injured the semitendinosus and strained the quadriceps muscle in his right thigh, during the Celtic Champions League meeting.
According to the newspaper “L’Equipe”, the period of Benzema’s absence will be from 10 to 20 days, and therefore he will miss the derby against Atletico Madrid.
According to the medical diagnosis, the French star is expected to return, on October 2, before meeting Osasuna in La Liga.
Karim Benzema will be ready for El Clasico against Barcelona on October 16.
