Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong spoke with his colleagues in the Catalan team about his future, during the current season.
Reports claimed that Manchester United agreed with Barcelona to include De Jong in a deal exceeding 70 million euros several weeks ago, but the Dutch player refused to move to the Red Devils.
And according to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, De Jong told his dressing room colleagues that he might end up moving to Manchester United.
And the Spanish newspaper indicated that De Jong is more open to accepting a move to Old Trafford, although the player expects the deal to be completed at the end of August.
She explained, “The Dutch player is very angry with Barcelona because he sees that the club is pressuring him to leave, and for this reason, De Jong will not provide any facilities for Barca upon his departure.”
Several reports have claimed that Barcelona owes De Jong approximately 17 million euros (deferred salaries).
