Juventus Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria has overtaken Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi in the list of the best assistants in the Champions League, according to the official website of UEFA.
Di Maria scored three assists in the match against Maccabi (3:1) in the 3rd round of the Champions League group stage.
With 38 assists in the Champions League, Di Maria is now in second place ahead of Messi with 37 assists.
Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo leads the Champions League in assists with 42 assists. Fourth place is occupied by another PSG striker, Neymar, who has 32 assists.
