Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez is preparing to join Chelsea in the final minutes of the transfer window.
Chelsea are making every effort to secure the 22-year-old before the end of the transfer period and the Argentine is currently undergoing a medical in Lisbon, reports Sky Sports. Later, the midfielder will fly to London in a private jet to complete the transition. The cost of the transfer, we recall, will be more than 120 million euros – Chelsea will pay the amount in installments.
Enzo Fernandez has made 29 appearances for Benfica this season. He has four goals and seven assists to his credit.
