Giroud became France’s all-time top scorer ahead of Henry

AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud has become the top scorer in the history of the French national football team.

Giroud on Sunday scored the ball against Poland in the 1/8 finals of the World Cup in Qatar. On account of the 36-year-old striker was 52 goals in 117 matches for the “tricolor”. According to this indicator, he was ahead of Thierry Henry, who has 51 goals.

Giroud previously played at the club level for Grenoble, Istres, Tours, Montpellier, Arsenal, and Chelsea. As part of the national team, the striker became the world champion and vice-champion of Europe.
