Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, accused of attempted rape and other charges, has been released on bail after being arrested last weekend for breaching the terms of his provisional release.
The 21-year-old, who was arrested for the first time last January, was later released, again at the end of last week, for trying, according to various English media, to contact the victim of the rape and assault he is accused of.
Today, Wednesday, Greenwood was released on bail, so he will enjoy the freedom of movement until the next hearing, scheduled for November 21.
Greenwood has not trained or played for Manchester United since the case began in January and has been suspended pending the charges against him.
