Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reacted to Welsh footballer Gareth Bale’s decision to retire from professional football.
“What a player! Fantastic career, Gareth won a lot. I think he played over 100 caps for Wales. Now he can become an excellent golfer. When I invited him to play, he was busy. Maybe now Bale will have time, I will invite him again”, — quotes the words of Guardiola Manchester Evening News.
Recall that Bale retired at the age of 33. The last club in Bale’s career was Los Angeles. Previously, the footballer played for Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, and Real Madrid. As part of the Spanish club, Bale won the UEFA Champions League five times.
