Guardiola: Relying only on Halland will not help us .. and Akanji saved us!

Date:

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said that his team will start the Champions League campaign tomorrow, Tuesday, against Seville.

Guardiola said, in a press conference: “Stones and Walker are injured, we are lucky that the club signed Manuel Akanji, otherwise we would be in big trouble. The club moved quickly to bring new players in this position.”

He added: “Because of the crowded scheduling in matches for many years, the players are no longer able to continue for a long time. In general, Stones’ injury is not serious, as well as Kyle’s, but I do not know if he will be ready for Saturday’s match, Dortmund, or Wolverhampton, or after the international break, it is a muscle injury.”.
