Haaland can’t stop breaking records in the Premier League

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick in the match of the 21st round of the Premier League against Wolverhampton.

The Norwegian scored his fourth hat-trick in his 19th Premier League appearance, beating ex-Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of four hat-tricks in his first 65 appearances.

19 matches – Erlin Haaland

81 matches – Luis Suarez

Also, Haaland broke Aguero’s record for most goals at City’s home ground in a Premier League season.

The 22-year-old now has 18 goals at the Etihad in the current league (in 11 matches). Aguero scored 16 goals in the 2011/12 season. In total, the Norwegian has 25 matches in his debut season in the English championship. He also has three assists to his credit.

Manchester City are second in the 2022/2023 Premier League standings with 45 points.
