Rafaela Pimenta, the agent of Manchester City player Erling Haaland, said that the Norwegian international could become the first player in football history to cross the one billion pound transfer mark.
Haaland joined City last summer from Borussia Dortmund, after paying the penalty clause in his contract, which amounted to 51 million and 200 thousand pounds (about 60 million euros).
Halland scored an amazing start with City, scoring 9 goals in the first 5 matches in the English Premier League, and also won the hat-trick 3 times in the competition.
Haaland scored 15 goals in the first 10 matches of this season in the English Premier League.
When asked about his price, Pimenta told Sky Sports Italy on Friday: “One billion pounds, that’s what I think.”
She added: “If you put together his footballing value, his image value, his sponsorship value, it would be a billion pounds for sure.”
She pointed out: “It is also normal to compare Erling and Kylian Mbappe, I think that Erling will be the first player to record a transfer value of about one billion pounds.”
