Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski scored a historic achievement during the match against Cadiz, on Saturday evening, in the fifth round of La Liga.
Lewandowski participated as a substitute in the second half and succeeded in scoring the second goal for Barca in the 65th minute.
According to the “Opta” statistics network, Lewandowski scored 6 goals in 5 matches in La Liga, to be the fastest player to reach this number in the competition in the 21st century.
And the network added: “Andre Silva scored 6 goals in his first 6 matches with Seville in 2018.”
The result indicates that Barcelona advanced with two goals without a response, as the match referee decided to stop playing because one of the fans had a health crisis.
