Inter lost at home to Empoli with a minimum score in the match of the 19th round of the Italian championship.
The only goal in the meeting was scored by 19-year-old Tommaso Baldanzi.
The Milanese at the end of the first half remained in the minority after the removal of Milan Shkrinjar.
Inter is third in the Serie A standings. Empoli is in ninth place.
