Steve Calzada, the CEO of Al Hilal Saudi Club, commented on the possibility of signing Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese captain of Al-Nasr.
Steve Calzada, CEO of Al Hilal, took part in the draw for the 2025 Club World Cup, which was held last Thursday evening in Miami, USA.
Al Hilal, representing Saudi Arabia, was placed in Group 8, where they will face Real Madrid from Spain, Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg, and Pachuca from Mexico.
“Signing Cristiano Ronaldo feels like something out of science fiction,” Steve Calzada stated in remarks published by GiveMeSport on Friday.
He added, “The Portuguese star is not a free agent at the moment, so it’s hard to comment on this situation.”
At 39, Cristiano Ronaldo is contracted to Al-Nasr until the summer of 2025.
