Isco’s transfer to Union Berlin failed.
Recall, earlier it was reported that the club and the midfielder agreed on a contract until 2024 with the option of extending for one season. It was later revealed that the player’s transition was in jeopardy.
“We would love to have Isco with us, but we have our limitations. Today they were exceeded contrary to previous agreements, so the transfer will not take place, ”said Union sports director Oliver Ruhnert.
Isco remains a free agent following the termination of his contract with Sevilla in December.
