Italian Jorginho, Chelsea midfielder, passed the medical examination at Arsenal, today, Tuesday afternoon.
Fabrizio Romano, an expert on player and coach transfers in Europe, wrote on his Twitter account: “Jorginho passed the medical examination at Arsenal and will sign his transfer contracts to the Gunners.”
He added, “Arsenal and Chelsea have reached a final agreement regarding the transfer of Jorginho, for a fixed fee of 10 million pounds sterling, in addition to variables amounting to two million euros.”
He concluded: “Jorginho’s contract with Arsenal extends until 2024, with the possibility of extending it for another season.”
It is noteworthy that Jorginho’s contract with Chelsea expires in the summer of 2023, and the Italian player was also linked to moving to Barcelona, beginning next season, in a free deal.
