On Monday, Real Madrid officially announced that one of its standout players has been honored with the award for La Liga’s Best Player for the 2023-2024 season. This recognition comes in a campaign where the club clinched both the Spanish League and Champions League titles.
The club revealed via its official website that English international midfielder Jude Bellingham was the recipient of this prestigious accolade, presented by the La Liga Association.
In the 2023-2024 season, Bellingham showcased remarkable form, scoring 19 goals and providing 6 assists in just 28 La Liga appearances. Despite missing 10 league matches due to injury, his contributions proved pivotal to Real Madrid’s success.
Bellingham concluded the season as La Liga’s third-highest scorer, level with Barcelona’s striker Robert Lewandowski.
He trailed behind top scorer Artem Dovbyk, formerly of Girona and now at Roma, who netted 24 goals, and second-place Alexander Sorloth, the ex-Villarreal forward currently with Atletico Madrid, who scored 23 goals.
