Juventus defeats Milan 2-0 at Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening, securing a vital win in the 21st week of the Italian Serie A. Despite a few chances for Milan, including a near miss from Renders and a chaotic moment in the Juventus penalty area, Milan was unable to break the deadlock in the first half. Goalkeeper Di Gregorio made crucial saves, and the Juventus defence held firm.

Mbangula and Weah Deliver the Win for Juventus

In the second half, Juventus continued to apply pressure. The breakthrough came in the 59th minute when Mbangula scored after receiving a pass from Gonzalez. The ball deflected off Milan’s Emerson, giving Maignan no chance to save it. Just five minutes later, substitute Timothy Weah doubled the lead, finishing off a pass from Thuram with a skilful shot to Maignan’s left.

Milan’s Response Falls Short in the Second Half

Milan struggled to respond throughout the second half. Their only real attempt came in the 79th minute, with Theo’s long-range effort going wide. Juventus dominated the match and kept Milan at bay, with Maignan almost conceding a third goal in the final minute, but Vlahovic’s shot went wide.

Juve Moves to Fourth in Serie A Standings

With this victory, Juventus climbed to fourth place in Serie A with 37 points. Milan, on the other hand, remains in eighth place with 31 points. Juventus has now proven their strength in both domestic and international competitions, despite Milan’s earlier success this season.
