Czech Pavel Nedved, Juventus Vice President, confirmed the presence of Dutch star Memphis Depay, Barcelona star, in the Bianconeri’s accounts for his inclusion this summer.
And press reports confirmed, during the past few days, that Juventus had reached an agreement with Barcelona to include Depay, whose contract expires at the end of the current season.
“Yes, Memphis is one of the players on our table,” Nedved said in a press statement before his team’s match against Sampdoria today, Monday. “It is normal that we have many options.”
He added, “Depay can play as a striker or as a winger for sure.”
Barcelona is seeking to give up Depay this summer, in order to avoid his free departure in the corresponding summer and to drop the salary limit.
