At the end of the first half, Joao Mario equalized, and at the beginning of the second segment of the game, the Brazilian David Neres led the guests ahead.
For Juventus, this defeat was the second in the current Champions League. The Turin team lost to PSG (1:2) in the previous round. Lisbon Benfica scored six points out of six possible in two matches, beating Maccabi Haifa 2-0 at the beginning of the tournament.
