Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been named the Champions League Player of the Week.

This was reported by the press service of UEFA. In yesterday’s match with Borussia Dortmund, which ended 2-1 in favor of the English club, the Belgian scored an assist and spent 90 minutes on the field.

Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala, Brugge striker Ferrand Hutgla, and Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé were also nominated for the award.

Only at the end of the meeting, the “townspeople” were able to level the score – in the 80th minute, John Stones scored after a pass from Kevin De Bruyne.

Four minutes later, Norwegian striker Erling Haaland upset his former team and brought Manchester City forward, defender Joao Cancelo recorded an assist at his own expense.
