Liverpool 2-2 draw against Arsenal at Anfield in one of the best games of the season

In the exciting match that took place this evening, Sunday, at Anfield, between Liverpool and Arsenal in the 30th round of the English Premier League, the tie was decided (2-2).

Gabriel Martinelli (8) and Gabriel Jesus (28) scored twice for Arsenal in the opening minutes, while Mohamed Salah (42) and Roberto Firmino (87) scored twice for Liverpool.

With that result, Arsenal is in first place with a score of 73 points, while Liverpool moved up to eighth place with a score of 44 points.

In the sixth minute, Liverpool scored with their first attempt, a powerful shot from Jakbo on the edge of the area that hit the post.

After Odegaard sent a through ball that hit Van Dyck’s foot and reached Martinelli inside the area, Arsenal scored in the eighth minute when Martinelli shot into Alison’s window.

Alisson saved a Zinchenko shot from outside the area in the 12th minute to send Arsenal back into the danger zone with a corner kick.

After a few minutes of calm, Arsenal took over the offensive initiative in the 74th minute with an outside-the-area shot from Odegaard that Alison saved.

In the 81st minute, Salah sent a unique pass to Nunez, who targeted Bramsdale and hit a ball from inside the area, which the Arsenal goalkeeper saved brilliantly. As a result, Liverpool missed a real chance to change the game.

In the 85th minute, Arsenal attempted to end the game by rising from Gabriel to cross from a Saka-directed corner and heading a header that Allison caught.
