Liverpool have announced an agreement with PSV on the transfer of Dutch striker Cody Gakpo on their official website.
The 23-year-old Dutchman will officially join the Reds at the start of the January transfer window, after agreeing to a personal contract and successfully passing a medical. At Liverpool, he will wear number 18.
This season, Gakpo played 14 matches in the Dutch championship and scored 21 (9 + 12) points in the goal + pass system.
At the 2022 World Cup, the striker played five matches for his national team and scored three goals.
