Manchester City will join Chelsea, in the race to include one of the Milan stars, according to a press report issued today, Thursday.
Milan sporting director Paolo Maldini had confirmed earlier that Chelsea had tried to sign the Rossoneri star, Raphael Leao, this summer. And the Italian “Calciomercato”
the website reported that the 23-year-old Liao is also interested in Manchester City.
The player himself also loves coach Pep Guardiola, and admires the English Premier League champion, but City will face stiff competition from Chelsea, if he decides to move to include the Portuguese player.
Liao did not let speculation affect his level, as he has been performing outstandingly since the beginning of the current season, scoring three goals and providing six assists in eight matches he played, in all competitions.
For his part, Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, confirmed that the club intends to offer a new contract to Leao, next January.
