Arsenal lost to Manchester City in the postponed match of the 12th round of the championship of England – 1:3. The meeting took place at the Emirates Stadium in London.
In the 24th minute of the meeting, midfielder Kevin de Bruyne opened the scoring. Bukayo Saka equalized before half-time thanks to a converted penalty.
In the second half of the meeting, first Jack Grealish brought the “citizens” forward, and then Erlin Haaland closed de Bruyne’s cross and scored the third goal.
Thanks to the victory, the team of Josep Guardiola caught up on points with the Gunners. They now have 51. City has moved up to the top of the league table thanks to additional indicators, but Arsenal still has a game in hand.
