Manchester United breathed a sigh of relief, after beating its guest Liverpool 2-1 on Monday evening, at the end of the third round of the English Premier League.
Jadon Sancho (16) and Marcus Rashford (53) scored United’s goals, while Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s only goal (81).
This is the first victory for Manchester United after two consecutive losses, to raise his score to 3 points, and leave the last place heading to the fourteenth place, a point ahead of Liverpool, who is in the sixteenth place.
Manchester United coach Eric Tin Hag left his Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, captain Harry Maguire, and left-back Luke Shaw, in an attempt to revive his team, which appeared poorly in the last two games.
Manchester United started the match as a striker, and the referee awarded him a direct free kick, which Christian Eriksen executed in the human wall in the seventh minute before Anthony Ilanga wasted the opportunity to advance in the tenth minute when he hit the post after he was alone after a pass from Bruno Fernandes.
