Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has unveiled his squad list for the upcoming clash against Rayo Vallecano tomorrow, Saturday, at the Teresa Rivero Stadium, as part of the 17th round of La Liga.
Ancelotti has ruled out French star Kylian Mbappe, who sustained an injury during the Champions League match against Atalanta, adding him to the list of absentees that includes Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, and Éder Militão.
On a positive note, Eduardo Camavinga returns to the squad after recovering from a muscle injury he suffered on November 27 during the Champions League encounter with Liverpool.
Here is Real Madrid’s squad list for the match:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Sergio Mestre
Defenders: Lucas Vázquez, Vallejo, Fran García, Rüdiger, Youssef Lakhdim, Asensio, Lorenzo
Midfielders: Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Modric, Tchouaméni, Arda Güler, Ceballos
Forwards: Vinícius, Rodrygo, Endrick, Brahim Díaz, Víctor Muñoz
Real Madrid aims to claim the top spot in La Liga, even temporarily, by taking advantage of Barcelona’s upcoming fixture against Leganés on Sunday.
Currently sitting second in the standings, just two points behind Barcelona, Los Blancos will be determined to secure a victory over Rayo Vallecano and collect all three points.
