According to press reports Thursday evening, Milan held talks with Arsenal, regarding the possibility of taking advantage of one of its players this summer.
According to “ Football Italy”, Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lukonga has emerged as a popular option for Milan coach Stefano Pioli, to replace Frank Kessie, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old signed his contract with Arsenal last summer, in a deal worth 17 million pounds, from Anderlecht.
But despite making 24 appearances in all competitions, the Belgian has struggled to make a lasting impression under coach Mikel Arteta.
For his part, Milan paid 30 million pounds to Club Brugge striker Charles de Kitleri, and also obtained the services of Liverpool’s duties, Divock Origi, for free.
