German international and Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala revealed that he grew up admiring the skills of Argentine legend Lionel Messi and Brazilian star Neymar da Silva, drawing inspiration from their exceptional talents.
Jamal Musiala, now 21 years old, grew up watching Lionel Messi and Neymar da Silva dominate at Barcelona during their time together from 2013 to 2017.
In an interview with Sky Sport Germany, Musiala shared his admiration for the Argentine legend: “Leo Messi was my idol when I was young; I admired him a lot,” he said.
Musiala continued, “I grew up watching Leo and Neymar. They were my favorites because of the joy and excitement they brought to football.”
Today, Messi plays for Inter Miami in MLS, while Neymar represents Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, both continuing to leave their mark on the global stage.
