Napoli achieved a remarkable achievement for the Italian clubs in the European Champions League, after its wide victory over its host Ajax, 6-1 in the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, in the third round of the championship.
The Opta statistics network said that Napoli is the first Italian team to score more than 10 goals in the first three matches of the Champions League group stage.
The South team managed to score 13 goals in the first three matches, after scoring 4 goals against Liverpool, 3 goals against Rangers, and finally 6 goals against Ajax.
On the other hand, the network reported that Ajax suffered its biggest defeat in all competitions, since November 1964, when it lost (9-4) against Feyenoord in the Dutch league.
